Can't say I'm surprised or excited about the upcoming ball, seems like there's better things to do. Anyway, it seems like I always misplace this thing and don't get a chance to write in it nearly as much as everyone else does. Granted I don't see the point of writing every detail of your life here.

I missed the cut again for the team and have been placed on reserve status. Not exactly a pleasant place to be when your mum's a former quidditch pro. Oh, she's been nice enough, but I can tell that she's disappointed. There's two beater spots left perhaps I could try out for those. It wouldn't hurt to get more experience and I might get more playing time.

I don't suppose I could get a chance at one of the beater spots that are left. I know my try out for chaser was less than stellar, but I'd like to give it a try. I do have some experience playing the position, though I understand if it's not possible.
