I do believe I’ve spent more time this week in the Library than I have in my own Common Room. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good book and all, but if I have to read one more thing about the Goblin Wars I just might scream. Does the Librarian always look like he’s afraid you’ll destroy the library? He seems a bit odd, that one.

It seems that all anyone is talking about is this ball that’s coming up. I really haven’t given much thought to it, seeing as I’ve had a ton of homework to work through. So who’s going? I might go, not that I want to go by myself Mum’s sent me two dresses to pick from. Don’t suppose that one of my fellow 5th year girls would mind helping me pick one?
And don’t worry brother dear, both dresses are perfectly respectable. After all, Mum did pick them out so there’s no need to worry.
